Someone is walking along in a bad mood.
A parent with a child in a stroller approaches. The child points at the person and says, "Look, daddy! That person has wings!" The parent takes no notice, muttering, "Yes, dear."
The person continues on their walk, with a much more cheerful attitude.
Apparently a lot of therianthropes and otherkin have had this sort of experience. Small children (and cats) can see things that other people can't.
